This policy explains how the Wepairs website uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies.
What the site currently uses
The current website does not activate analytics or advertising services because no live analytics or advertising identifier is configured. The booking journey uses sessionStorage to preserve your device, repair, store and appointment selections if you refresh or briefly leave the page. It does not put customer contact details into the URL.
The site may also use a localStorage entry to remember the cookie choice you make, so it does not need to ask on every visit. These browser-storage entries are used for the service or preference you request rather than for advertising.
Language translation
The language menu lets you read the site in another language using Google's website translation service. Only when you choose a language, the site sets a first-party cookie called googtrans to remember your choice and loads Google's translation script. The text of the page is then sent to Google to be translated, and Google may set its own cookies under its privacy policy. Nothing is sent to Google if you stay in English. To switch translation off, choose English from the language menu, which removes the googtrans cookie.
Essential and non-essential technologies
Technologies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you request may operate without consent. Non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies will not be activated unless they are configured and the required consent has been obtained.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings in the website footer to accept or reject optional cookies at any time. You can also clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. Clearing session storage will remove a saved repair-booking journey.
Third-party websites
Links such as directions or the separate Wepairs retail website may open another provider's service. That provider controls its own cookies and privacy information.
